He offered great advice keeping us informed all the way through the process. Kev first visited to measure up and provide a quotation, the quote was very competitive and much better value than some of the bigger National companies. We agreed to proceed and a short time later Kev & Callum came to do the job. The quality of work is exceptional, the quality of the products they use is 1st class and they kept everything tidy cleaning up each day. Middle of range on price but Kevin was obviously passionate about staircases so we went for it with an ultra plain design. Pricewise, you have to be really careful in this industry, clean cuts and tight fitting joints are essential and not everyone has the high craftsmanship required. Yet at extreme price point, you will be talking to a sales guy who will subcontract it to cheapest joiner. Staircases are usually glued together so faults are difficult or expensive to correct. Thankfully, Kevin knows what he's doing 🙂 Being the first thing you look at when you walk in through the front door, the staircase makes a superb impression.

Attention to detail was first class. ie. Newel posts were perfectly plumb level. Mitre joints were precise & materials used was first grade. So the final finish was truly outstanding.
